I support our growth by… providing case design and product expertise to our advisors to help them address their client’s objectives. I work closely with our BGA relationships and carriers.  Partnering with Peter Kaplan, our complimentary skillsets allow us to offer the best possible solutions and position our advisors for successful results.

 Our success… We have had a lot of success with insurance reviews. A lot can change from the time a policy is originally placed too today. Products change, life happens, products underperform, goals change. Recently an advisor asked us to take a look at some life policies for a Husband and Wife. They each had an individual universal life policy, and they also had two survivorship life policies. The Advisor provided the current inforce illustrations along with the client’s goals to decrease premiums and shorten premium paying years while maintaining their current death benefit. The success was twofold. 1) We replaced the individual policies with Guaranteed VULs, maintained the same death benefit, used a 1035 exchange with no further premiums and provided lifetime no-lapse guarantee and 2) We validated that their survivorship policies were performing as intended and kept their current policies as there were no better options.

My professional background includes… As a second-generation insurance guy, I have worked in the Insurance and Financial services industry my entire career. My roles have spanned advisor/agent, agency management, director of life and annuity internal wholesaling at a national carrier, and case design. This prior experience makes me uniquely qualified to understand what is needed to provide the best options to our advisors and their clients while sifting through carrier guidelines, requirements, strengths, and restrictions.

Rounding out my life… We have 5 grandchildren that keep us very busy. When not at a game, babysitting or just running around with the grandkids, you will find me golfing, doing yard work, cheering on my favorite sports teams (Go UCONN and all Boston professional teams!) or strategizing my next fantasy football trade.
